I then tape a plastic cover over the entrance and exit hole. Very Easy and free...and to make it warm...add straw... From my car, they appeared reasonably healthy, but ran as I pulled over to get a better look at them. I have been back to Target twice since then, checking as I left to see if they were still around - I did not see the cats, but from my car could see that there were a couple of make-shift shelters. My question is : should I feed them? Or check the sturdiness of their shelter from time to time (it IS getting cold)? I certainly don't want to do any disservice to them but don't want them to be hungry or sold either. I would guess they have not been neutered or vaccinated but don't know. I oly saw 4, but there could be more - its a fairly overgrown creek bank - steep too. Suggestions? Thank you!
